Clara y vibrante de pasión ha sonado en Granada la voz de don Melquíades Álvarez para hablar casi exclusivamente de política internacional. Si bien haciendo la salvedad de que la política internacional, sobre todo en la España de hoy, no debe ser tratada aparte de la política interior, notaremos una perfecta coincidencia entre lo que el señor Álvarez ha dicho y lo que aquí hemos escrito.
Véanse los dos puntos que nos parecen sobresalir, por parecernos los más afirmativos:
Clear and vibrant with passion has sounded in Granada the voice of Don Melquíades Álvarez, speaking almost exclusively of international politics. Though making the reservation that international politics, above all in the Spain of today, should not be treated apart from domestic politics, we shall note a perfect coincidence between what Mr. Álvarez has said and what we have written here.

Benché facendo la riserva che la politica internazionale, soprattutto nella Spagna di oggi, non deve essere trattata a parte dalla politica interna, noteremo una perfetta coincidenza tra ciò che il signor Álvarez ha detto e ciò che qui abbiamo scritto.
